This wasn’t supposed to happen.
At least not like this.
From the Field™ started as an idea sitting in the back of my mind for a long time. Something bigger than hunting, bigger than social media, and bigger than what people expected me to stay boxed into.
A few people assumed this was going to be another hunting podcast. It’s not.
Hunting will always be part of my life, but so are the conversations nobody sees, the pressure behind running a business, family, homesteading, friendships, setbacks, rebuilding, and trying to figure life out while the internet watches from the sidelines.
This series isn’t polished into perfection and it’s not built around pretending everything is fine all the time. It’s simply a place to document life as it actually unfolds. The good, the messy, the quiet moments, and the things most people never hear about.
The title From the Field™ means exactly that. Not one field. Every field.
This first episode is the introduction. The starting point. A little context behind why I finally decided to stop overthinking it and hit record.
And honestly… I probably stayed quiet longer than I should have.
